(NEW OWNER(S) IS THE BUYER)

(WE ARE PREVIOUS OWNER)

So, in order to protect not only the well-being of the puppy... This agreement also breaks down what the PREVIOUS OWNER and NEW OWNER(S) both expect- by putting down a $450 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit on a puppy you're hereby agreeing to everything included in this contract below...

**Most importantly PLEASE understand that the well-being of the puppy is YOUR main concern. It takes a lot of time, love, and patience to care for a Bloodhound. **

The sale of this Bloodhound puppy is completely NON-REFUNDABLE, and as stated above by placing a deposit you're agreeing to any expenses for the care of your puppy after it leaves our farm!

1. We require at least a $450 (NON-REFUNDABLE) deposit to hold a specific puppy -unless for any reason there is a health condition on our end-with the exception of intestinal parasites (the presence of parasites and worms can cause heart murmurs), hernias, heart murmurs-caused by parasites, and anything pertaining to the puppies' eyes. If for any reason the puppy would be suffering from any illness the NEW OWNER(S) have two months to let the PREVIOUS OWNER know with written documentation from their veterinarian that is presented to the PREVIOUS OWNER by e-mail or mail. Up until TWO MONTHS of having the puppy the PREVIOUS OWNER requires the puppy surrendered back to them with an option to pick a different puppy (THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY REFUNDED) out of next available litter- ONLY AFTER the written documentation is provided. Any questions can be answered in detail before signing a paper copy of this purchase agreement. Any findings by a veterinarian during 6–7-week health checkup will immediately be brought up to the NEW OWNER(S) prior to picking up the puppy.

2. If for ANY reason the NEW OWNER(S) can no longer care for the puppy, the NEW OWNER(S) agree(s) to return the puppy to PREVIOUS OWNER. The puppy is not to go to another home unless given permission by the PREVIOUS OWNER.

3. Understand if the puppy is surrendered back to us there is NO refund and that you are giving up any rights to the Bloodhound. -The NEW OWNER(S) agree(s) to NEVER place the Bloodhound in a shelter or humane society.

4.The PREVIOUS OWNER assume(s) NO responsibility for medical expenses incurred after the sale/puppy leaves property. The PREVIOUS OWNER makes NO warranty about the puppies' health and the purchase is "as is" basis. (REFER TO #1 for exception up until 2 months after leaving)

5. The breeder assumes NO responsibility for temperament or training issues with the puppy after the sale.

6. The PREVIOUS OWNER does not guarantee the size or weight the dog will grow into. PREVIOUS OWNER will give an educated guess based on parents; note there are too many variables besides genetics.

7.The PREVIOUS OWNER has taken the puppy to a licensed Veterinarian (Chester Veterinary Clinic) for thorough wellness checkup/ examination with first set of age-appropriate vaccinations. The puppy will have signature of approval from Veterinarian to leave for new homes.

8. This puppy isn't suffering from any life-threatening illness- with the exception of intestinal parasites /worms (each puppy has had the recommended doses of Nemex Strongid). Also, the PREVIOUS OWNER will send home an extra dose to administer before their next checkup at their veterinarian office.

 9. The NEW OWNER(S) have been provided with a folder full of the Bloodhound pups health records, as well as helpful information on the breed.

10. If the NEW OWNER(S) so chooses to transport the puppy (ground or air) PREVIOUS OWNER assumes NO responsibility after the puppy leaves THEIR home!

11.ABSOLUTELY DO NOT expose them to areas where it's high risk for any infection such as: Parvovirus, Kennel Cough and etc. NEW OWNER(S) will have to have their puppy's full series of vaccinations administered and NEW OWNER(S) Veterinarian's approval to do so. An example of a high traffic area for such infections are dog park, boarding kennel, and some department stores. It is recommended the puppy should stay in shopping cart with a clean blanket if you need to take them for any reason.

12.To conclude, the NEW OWNER(S) agree(s) to continue all necessary care for this Bloodhound- proper diet (some bloodhounds have a sensitivity to chicken and beef), exercise, preventative flea & tick medication, monthly worm medication and etc. (NOT taking proper care of the hound will VOID offer to another puppy as stated in paragraph #1 and the NEW OWNER(S) will be required to surrender the puppy back to PREVIOUS OWNER(S) care.
